ask for a macbeth color checker calibration chart before sending your images to our printer.
How many times have you painstakingly optimized an image only to find your prints look completely different than they did on your screen? At Dickerman Prints, we offer an easy way to make sure this does not happen when prepping your photos on your home digital darkroom. Just follow a few easy steps:
Make sure your monitor is set to Adobe RGB 1998. If you are unsure of how to do this, check your instruction manual.
Hold the hard copy out alternate looking at the screen and the printed version. If your monitor is correctly calibrated, the colors should look identical. Make sure you are looking at it in a controlled environment with no light shining on the screen.
